THE 6 BEST THINGS TO DO IN CLOUDY IBIZA

On holiday we look forward to non-stop blue skies and 30-degree heat, yet this is not always the case. However, we like to see these days as an opportunity to explore and see other versions of Ibiza that we would undoubtedly miss if we had no reason to peel ourselves away from that sun lounger.

Here are our top 6 things to do when the weather changes in Ibiza.

1. E-biking

We have to admit we get quite excited on a cloudy day here in Ibiza. With over 250 days of sun a year, we like to make the most of the days with cloud cover to go on those extra long rides and get lost in nature. The island is abundant with excellent roads, caminos and tracks for cycling. Whether you’re exploring the promenade in town, taking the red rocky coastal paths or making your way over a mountain track, gliding along on two wheels will not leave you disappointed.

Hasha Ibiza has several routes you can use to explore or you can make your adventure. Hire their ebikes or if you want an extra memorable experience you can book a guide to show you around.

2. Hiking

Ibiza is a Hikers' paradise. Its’ rugged hilly terrain is breathtaking and intriguing. All over the island, there are trails to be discovered. Book a guide to find the off-the-beaten-track trails, or follow one of the many well-trodden paths to some of the most magical places. Our favourites are es Portixol, Cala Blanca Tunel and Sa Talaia at sunrise!

3. Explore the villages

All are unique from, San Juan, San Carlos, and Santa Gertrudis to San Jose. On a Sunday, San Juan is not one to miss, on first glance you may think this sleepy village is just that, but for its many cultural events and weekly Sunday market, it comes alive. This bustling and vibrant village is located in the north of the island. San Carlos is perfect for browsing in the local artisan shops for souvenirs or spending the afternoon watching the world go by in Bar Anita. For some of the best Sushi on the Island check out Mei - our favourite is their rainbow roll.

The views from the top are breathtaking, the cobbled streets enchanting, each corner you turn you are presented with historic ruins and artefacts.
