A DAY IN IBZIA - YOUR PERFECT CRUISE STOP ITINERARY

View of D’alt Vila and the port of Ibiza from Marina Botafoc

The perfect cruise stop experience… explore the best of Ibiza by e-bike.

Ibiza is one of the smallest inhabited island in the Balearics, with an area of 572.56 square kilometers (221.07 sq mi), almost six times smaller than Mallorca. However, Ibiza is the larger of a group of the western Balearic archipelago called the Pityusic Islands (Pitiusas) or Pine Islands composed of itself and Formentera. The fragrant-smelling pine on a warm summer evening is a reminder of where the name is attributed. The Balearic island chain includes over 50 islands, most of which are uninhabited.

Ibiza is well connected with an excellent road network and bus system, transport around the island is easy and doesn't take too long, with the right planning.

You will arrive at Ibiza Cruise Terminal at Marina Botafoc, and take a stroll around the port towards the ancient fortified town of D'alt Vila. D’alt vila is one of the many UNESCO world heritage sites on Ibiza along with Phoenician settlements and the invaluable fields of Posidonia (thought to be the largest and oldest living organism on earth, and unbeaten in sequestering carbon from the atmosphere), that surround the Pitusiuas underwater. From here you can take in the stunning sites of Ibiza town and port, before making the journey to the beautiful coastal of Santa Eularia. You can get here by bus or taxi. Upon arrival, walk along the promenade, grab a coffee, and a bite to eat, and soak up the sun and the local life of the town. Santa Eularia is the third largest town on the island and is home to the only river on the island of its namesake. The location of Santa Eulalia makes it desirable to explore local beaches and the countryside by ebike.

If arriving by bus, take a scenic stroll along the promenade towards the river, making your way to Hasha Ibiza to collect your ebike. Set off on your adventure following the pre-mapped route, exploring the beautiful Ibiza campo along with an array of beaches, restaurants, and chiringuitos of northeast Ibiza.

Spend the day stopping off at different places or just a few hours, for the Ibiza experience. On certain days you can pass the famous hippy markets. Riding through nature and appreciating the other side of Ibiza will leave you with special memories for years. After a full day of adventure and exploration, you will still have plenty of time to return to your ship and watch the sun go down over the beautiful Ibiza old town.

We can deliver ebikes to your ship or you can come to us…

Start your tour from the cruise ship terminal and have the e-bikes delivered straight to your boat, or if you want to explore a different part of the island head up to Santa Eulalia by bus or taxi to explore the beautiful countryside and beaches of Ibiza.
